In our city, many candidates running for office often travel great distances, endure traffic jams, and unreliable public transportation in order to reach local Democratic clubs in pursuit of endorsements. This results in rushed endorsement meetings and is a very frustrating experience for both the candidate and endorsing club. Twelve chartered San Francisco Democratic County Central Committee (SFDCCC) clubs will hold streamlined endorsement meetings. This process will allow candidates to discuss their vision for the City in greater detail, allow for more time to meet community and club members before the endorsement proceedings begin, and help potential candidates build a better rapport with Democratic clubs. The streamlined endorsement process is tantamount to ensuring that this issue is resolved and Democratic voices are heard.

For the Asian Pacific Democratic Club’s endorsement, we will be attending the August 24 Endorsement meeting:

Date: Sunday, August 24, 2014

Time: 9am – 4pm

Location: George Washington High School 600 32nd Ave, San Francisco, CA 94121
