APA Heritage Month – Celebrating Innovations

For the 10th anniversary of San Francisco’s annual celebration of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, the Heritage Celebration Committee will honor individuals whose achievements embodies the celebration theme of Celebrating Innovations.

Each year, the celebration theme for APA Heritage Month establishes the guideline for the APA Heritage Awards program. In selecting this year’s theme “Celebrating Innovation,” the committee wishes to honor Asian Pacific Americans who are “innovators” in his or her field. The awards program not only honors past achievements, but also recognizes the achievements as having created a path of great impact for the future.

The APA Heritage Awards Ceremony will take place at the City View at Metreon on May 5, 2014.
Each honoree will be presented with the 2014 APA Heritage Award for Innovation as well as commendations from the City and County of San Francisco.
